As-Salaam-Alaikum:

In the name of Our Saviour Allah, The Sole Master of the Day of Judgment
in which we now live. To Him I submit.

Dear Brother Joseph:

Just a few lines to let you hear from me. I received your letter, and as
usual happy to read a letter from anyone who is a believer in Allah and
his Religion (Islam); To whom praises is due the Originator of the Heaven
and Earth. To Him I submit myself, The Lord of the Worlds.

Brother, you are right in trying to learn whether or not I have received
your reports. Yes, Brother Malcolm mention your reports to me, But I had
not acted as yet. But as investigator in #7 Temple, I desire that you
send to me a General report once very month. In this way I will be better
informed. Brother Sultan Totally failed in a duty as Minister. I hope you
will be successful next February in making the visit here, if it be
Allah’s Will.

Keep my mail to yourself.

Best love and wishes to you and the Believers.

As-Salaam-Alaikum.

Your Brother,

Signed Elijah Muhammad
