Reached the End of His Journey

Captain Roscoe Muhammad II was born March 20, 1940 to Mamie and Roscoe
Muhammad Sr. He was the grandson of Messenger Elijah Muhammad’s Sister
(Sister Emma Muhammad). He was a loving husband and father. He was one
of the greatest Captains THE NATION has ever known.
Captain Roscoe II served Allah, Who came in the Person of Master Fard
Muhammad under the leadership and guidance of Messenger Elijah Muhammad
(peace be upon him) as Captain at Muhammad Temple No. 1 Michigan. He was
a Believer in the Teachings of Messenger Elijah Muhammad until death took
him away, Fufilling Chapter 3, Verse 101 of the Holy Quran: “O YOU WHO
BELIEVE, KEEP YOUR DUTY TO ALLAH, AS IT OUGHT TO BE KEPT, AND DIE NOT
UNLESS YOU ARE MUSLIMS.”
Captain Roscoe Muhammad II owned and operated Roscoe’s Ice Cream Parlor
for 25 years. He was a loving man, who held particular affection for
children. He was an out-going and friendly person, who never met a
stranger. Capt. Roscoe was kind, courteous and generous by nature.
Hundreds attended his memorial services and many stood to testify to his
greatness and goodness.
Captain Roscoe Muhammad II was preceded in death by his mother, his
brother, Felton and sister, Elaine. He leaves to rejoice in many fond and
loving memories his wife, Sister Edythe and his children; Robert,
Maurice, William, Roscoe III, Doretha and Sirena; twelve
grandchildren, six great grandchildren; his father, Captain Roscoe
Muhammad Sr. and stepmother, Sister Juanita Muhammad; siblings, Robert,
Rasema and Vera, a host of other loving relatives and friends and
thousands of Believers in Messenger Elijah Muhammad’s Teachings.
