The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad

The Grave of  Our Beloved Messenger

The following words ( in quotations) are reprinted from Our Saviour Has
Arrived, page 86-87

“The Muslim loves all of Allah’s prophets, but we will not pray for life
to come to us from a dead prophet; not even to Muhammad who lived nearly
1,400 years ago. We pray in the name of Allah and mention the name of His
last prophet in our prayer as an honor and thanks to Allah for His last
guide to us.”

Messenger Elijah Muhammad

Messenger Elijah Muhammad was laid to rest at Mount Glenwood Cemetery,
located at 18301 Glenwood Thornton Rd, Glenwood, Illinois 60425. His
grave location there is Section C-Division 2 – Lot 44 – Grave 3. He
is buried with his one and only wife, Sister Clara Muhammad, who was
buried there on August 15, 1972. Their grave is next to Messenger Elijah
Muhammad’s mother, Sister Marie Muhammad, who was buried there in 1958.

Messenger Elijah Muhammad showed us the proper example of  the type of
headstone that should be place on the grave of a Muslim when he buried
his beloved mother, Sister Marie Muhammad, in 1958.
